I was sexually exploited by my dad. It started when I was 7. Every night, my father would sneak into my room, cover my face with a pillow, and then slowly open my legs and begin touching my private parts. I was too scared to do anything at that time. I’d be there, hoping that somehow, cops would suddenly appear and stop my dad from doing it. I kept it a secret from everyone, even my mom. It happened a lot of times as I was growing up.
There was also a time he made me cover my eyes with a handkerchief and he made me give him a BJ which I didn’t exactly know what I was doing. I went downstairs afterwards and continued as if nothing happened. There is one night when I was asleep and he suddenly slept behind me. His private part pressed against my butt and he removed my underwear under the sheets while my siblings were asleep. That time, I realized that it was wrong because I was at the age that I got my period. He made me hold his private part and I tried my best to resist and move around as if I was going to wake up until he stopped and went back to his bed.
There were also times that he was peeking while I was taking a bath, he was peeking through a small hole in the bathroom door so from that day on, I always used the curtain. Right now, he has stopped doing those things to me. No one knew about this except my best friend and my ex bf. I don’t want my mom to know about this because I have many siblings who are still studying and my father’s the only one working in the family. But if it happens again, I’ll make sure to report him and also tell my family.
