I had a near rape experience too… This guy was my close friend in school, so we went for a friend’s birthday and while on our way home it began to rain and we couldn’t find a bike that would drive me home. He decided to get a room for me in a hotel closeby since his house was close and mine wasn’t. .I agreed. We went there and he got a room, and then he said he could no longer go home because the rain was falling heavily. My whole body rejected this idea but at that point it was late so I said okay. I slept all most throughout the night before he started acting funny.
I stood up and told him I was going to leave the room for him but, he apologized. However, it wasn’t true. He forced me down, held my arms, tore my clothes… I struggled all I could but he told me to shout that body was going to listen and nobody was going to come. He kept on saying he was sorry but he just had to do it.. All I felt was shame and anger because I brought it on myself – it was all my fault, There was no way everybody was not going to blame me and call me a prostitute for following him. We kept on struggling and my head hit against the wall and I began to feel dizzy. But the hotel attendant might have overhead us because he came towards the room and so he left me. I hurriedly left the place and since last month have not been the same.
